Design your own bag!
A birthday or a day out with family or friends? Come and be creative at the Museum of Bags and Purses and design your own bag. In only a few hours you will make a beautiful bag under the supervision of our creative instructors. Be inspired by the bags in the museum first, have drinks after, or combine the workshop with afternoon tea, a guided tour or lunch? There are seven kinds of workshops:
- Cotton bag
Using different materials and techniques, you'll decorate a cotton bag with a design of your own choice. €20 per person, duration 1 1/2 hrs. - Leather smartphone cover
With various kinds of leather, create your personalised smartphone cover. €35 per person, duration 1 1/2 hrs. - Green shopping bag
A green jute shopping bag big enough to carry your shopping. Decorate it with various materials. €35 per person, duration 2 hrs. - Cardboard bag
Decorate a cardboard eveningbag, designed by the designer’s duo Bouwjaar ’63 with various materials. €42,50 per person, duration 2 hrs. - Felt bag
Using warm water and soap, you can create felt from wool. Using a mold you can make a small bag with this new material. €40 per person, duration 2 1/2 hrs. - Clutch
Create your own clutch in only an hour. Using very simple techniques, you can create a beautiful eveningbag. €35 per person, duration 2 hrs.
The minimum number of participants is 6, with a maximum of 12. The prices for the workshops include the workshop and all materials, but exclude admission. Click here for ticket prices.
