Why not get married in a romantic canal house in the heart of Amsterdam? The Museum of Bags and Purses is an official wedding venue and offers two beautiful period rooms and en peaceful garden. The museum is the perfect location for a wonderful day and offers an exceptionally romantic décor to your wedding. You can have the wedding ceremony, surrounded by family and friends, in one of the period rooms. A champagne toast, the cutting of the cake, reception or dinner is of course part of our idoor possibilities, while the garden is a great location for your wedding photo’s.
Ceremony in a period room
The museum was completely renovated in 2007 whereby classical details were combined with modern design in a stylish manner. The two period rooms have original mural paintings and chimneypieces dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Both rooms offer a peaceful view of the Herengracht.
Our period rooms are also suitable for a champagne toast or the ceremonial cutting of the cake after the ceremony. We will gladly make a suitable estimate.
