Welcome aboard

In the exhibition Welcome Aboard the suitcase is an object of modernity, reflecting the mobility and speed of the times. Through 31 August the museum has gigantic trunks for travel by coach and ship, as well as luxurious luggage sets from the 1950s and extravagant dressing cases containing silver brushes and crystal vials on show.

Playful bags designed by Cécile De Jaegher at the Museum of Bags and Purses

On view through 2 November the exposition 'VII by Cécile De Jaegher' can be seen at the Museum of Bags and Purses. The exposition shows a selection of colourful and very personal handbags designed by the Belgium designer Cécile De Jaegher.
